Paul obtained a First Class law degree and started professional lifeas a Barrister, later qualified as a solicitor practicing commercial, banking and finance litigation for 10 years both in London and Leeds for two of the worlds’ leading law firms. All this before leading a demanding qualification programme for prospective Barristers, starting a family, becoming an award winning property entrepreneur, investor, developer and multiple business owner.

Jay has more than 20 years of experience dealing with all aspects of property sales and purchases. Jay is also co-author of the #1 bestseller Before the Hammer Falls: The Insider’s Guide to Property Auction Success, which is the industry’s most in-depth book on UK property auctions.

As a former auction manager at Auction House London and Business Development Director at Auction House his deep sector expertise is regularly consulted as part of awards judging panels, roundtables and industry level speaking events.
