Who are the panellists?
Daryl Norkett:
Daryl has worked in commercial banking and specialist lending for 10 years, prior to LendWell he shaped the specialist property lending proposition at Shawbrook Bank as Head of Products & Markets, covering the Specialist BTL, Commercial and Short-Term markets. Prior to this, Daryl worked as a Regional Development Manager for Shawbrook after starting out as a Relationship Manager at Barclays following graduation from University in 2009. Having gained well rounded expertise in property lending, Daryl most enjoys working closely with clients to smoothly deliver funding for their property business.
Helen Chorley:
Helen is a well recognised and highly respected name in the real estate investment community, and her opinion is highly sought after from both developers and fellow investors.
She has been involved in finance and investment for over 20 years, and the combined experiences gained on the trading floor of JP Morgan and running her own real estate investment company has given her a deep understanding of the financials behind the deals she invests in.
She is meticulous in deal due diligence, the results of which can be seen in her consistent track record of selecting profitable deals. Her current portfolio of investment projects have a combined GDV of over £50m.
Helen is a regular speaker at events on Crowdfunding and real estate investment.
She holds an MA in politics, philosophy and economics from Oxford University.
John Howard:
John Howard who is known in the industry as ‘The Property Expert’. He is a property professional with 4 decades of experience and proven acumen in developing, trading and investing. John’s proficiency stems from the purchase and sale of over 3,500 houses, apartments and developments within the UK.
Manish Kataria:
Manish Kataria is a CFA-qualified professional investor with 18 years’ experience in fund management and UK property investment. He has managed investment portfolios for JPMorgan and other blue chip investment houses. Within property, he invests in and owns a range of assets including developments, HMOs, BTLs and serviced accommodation. Manish is the founder of InvestLikeAPro.co.uk, a private investor circle open to investors seeking professionally derisked opportunities.
Tej Singh
