Jerry founded Tate Harmer in 2007 and maintains a central role at the practice. He is driven by his desire to generate creative, pragmatic and unique solutions for each project. Jerry is influential across all projects, ensuring design quality is paramount. Jerry was educated at Nottingham University and the Bartlett, subsequently completing a masters degree at Harvard University. Prior to establishing Tate Harmer, he worked at Grimshaw Architects where he led a number of significant projects including ‘The Core’ education facilities at the Eden Project in Cornwall, UK. Jerry is frequently invited to lecture, notably at Ecobuild, as well as contribute to architecture publications, including Building Design, Sustain, and World Architecture News. He has taught at Harvard University,and currently teaches at the Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL.

Sustainable Building Consultant at WARM: Low Energy Building Practice

Warm are working as energy consultants on a huge range of Passivhaus and low energy developments from large scale commercial to self-build; their collective experience is unrivalled in the UK.. Caroline joined Warm having worked as a building services engineer and sustainable building consultant for Arup in London, Sheffield, Berlin & Cape Town. She has a passion for building low energy buildings that actually perform.  Caroline also acquired a Masters in Energy Studies during her time in Cape Town through undertaking a two year research project in the creation of energy benchmarks for commercial buildings.  Caroline has a particular interest in post occupancy monitoring and the interactions between buildings systems and their occupants. She was the lead energy consultant for the Stirling Prize winning Goldsmith Street Passivhaus residential development in Norwich and is currently working on a number of residential and non-residential Passivhaus developments.

Evan Maindonald

Evan Maindonald was born in New Zealand. He has lived in the UK since 1992 and has been involved full time in property development and investment since 2002. Prior to 2002, Evan owned investment property in the UK and New Zealand and so posesses property experience spanning a period of over 25 years. Evan completed a degree in Computer Science at Auckland University and started his working career in the technology industry in New Zealand in the late 80’s selling computer systems and networks. In 1992, Evan moved to the UK and worked for British Telecom (BT) for a number of years, with a focus on sales of international telecoms networks. He completed an MBA at IMD in Switzerland, one of Europe’s top business schools, in 2000. After completing his MBA, Evan worked for a technology start up in the UK for around a year and then started his own property development and investment company in 2002.

 

Gavin Gallagher

Gavin has been a property investor-developer and entrepreneur for more than 25 years. Gavin specialise in the design, build and operation of corporate workplace clusters. Gavin is a Director of Earlsfort Group and responsible for EastPointDublin, a 40-acre office campus with 50+ occupiers employing in the region of 9,000 people. Prior to his current role at EastPoint he spent a decade living abroad (Spain, Dubai, Qatar, UK) working on large corporate office headquarter projects for multinational clients like Standard Chartered Bank. During that time he bought, sold, built and managed projects all the way from Midtown Manhattan to Downtown Dubai.
