September 24
Time:06:30 pm - 07:30 pm
The event is Co-Hosted by Aaron Yahaya, Oparo
The session includes a funding update by Bond Finance followed by a webinar dedicated to the Hotel Sector
Chaired by Jerry Tate, Tate Harmer Architects
Questions that the panel will be covering:
1.Point of difference – How can you differentiate yourself in a crowded market, particularly in
terms of staycation? How can you be, and also demonstrate your uniqueness?
2.Inclusivity and exclusivity – Can you cater for everyone? Should you? Are some hotels for
families and some not?
- Workation – A new concept and lovely idea but what does it need? Good WIFI?
Meeting rooms? Co-working spaces?
4.Local community – how do you connect to them with your offer? Also your supply chain and
staffing? What is important here?
5.Sustainability – Consumers increasingly demand this, how can you integrate it into your offer without necessarily costing the earth?
6.Visitor flow – The visitor journey is so important, what is the best way of describing and setting
this out? A narrative? A storyboard?
7.Priorities – what is the most important thing to consider when developing a new hotel offer and
building?
8.Back of house – Not the most sexy but is crucial to making a hotel work. How can we consider
this at the design stage?
- Covid 19 – How do you see this changing the face of the hotel market?
