Adam Lawrence

Having bought 200+ residential properties in the last 8 years, Adam has preferred to hold on to many of them for the medium/long term rather than sell them.

Having achieved the vast majority of this by partaking in joint ventures, Adam has experience of raising capital from both equity and debt partners.

Ben Richards

Director of Aura Architecture & Interiors, an Award Winning Architectural Design company. Also passionate about property development and works with Investors to create amazing homes whilst providing double digit investment returns with his company EXP Property.

EXP’s goal is to play as big a part as possible in rectifying the housing crisis by building and transforming efficient, sustainable housing.

As an architecture practice AURA is design-led and our aim is to create amazing spaces for homeowners, and give them the additional space they need for their families to thrive.

Our Ethos is to maximise space, create simple, light-filled spaces that are sustainable and energy efficient.

Ben is a graduate of Cardiff University with a Masters degree in Architectural Engineering and has a passion for all things property.

Grace Ballantyne

Grace is Head of Acquisitions & Strategy at MELT Property, a property development and investment business with a pipeline of projects worth over £250m. Her focus is on site acquisitions, overseeing the business expansion strategy and managing investor relationships. She is closely involved with a number of large scale residential and commercial development projects including a £65M GDV mixed use scheme in Kennington, London. Additionally, Grace engages in her own property investments and business ventures.

Grace has a corporate background in marketing in the media and finance sectors. She has provided strategy consultancy for several businesses in the property sector including senior lenders, crowdfunding platforms and co-working spaces. Having worked closely with the founding team at a development finance fund she has invaluable insight of assessing deals from a lenders perspective. Furthermore, Grace has raised private finance for development projects and is experienced in working with investors and equity partners, including with real estate focused family offices.

John East

In 2001 John joined KFH, starting out as sales manager at the Blackheath branch. Four years later he moved to Surrey Quays and in 2009 was promoted to Land and New Homes director. John is now responsible for two branches which purely serve the land and new homes market in London.

Stephen Johnson

Stephen has worked in financial services for over 20 years and most recently been one of the founder executives of Shawbrook Bank where he had the role of Deputy CEO and MD for Property lending. He has a wealth of experience in all areas of lending to professionals in the property development, refurbishment and investor markets. During his career he has overseen c £7bn of lending into the market and also has his own direct experience in property development and investment.
