Charles Rose

City Planning was set up by Charles Rose in 2009. Charles has been a Chartered Town Planner since 2001 when he moved to London from the North of England, having worked in both the public and private sectors, whilst completing his Masters in Town and Regional Planning. Since that time, he has quickly established himself, building a diverse client base, ranging from developers and corporate investors to receivers, private developers and local amenity groups. Charles focuses on providing clients with a committed, diligent and friendly service evidenced by the large number of long term clients he provides services to and new clients arriving through referrals. It is these characteristics that the foundations of City Planning have been built upon ensuring the team have an excellent record of delivering success to clients with a pragmatic and commercially minded approach.

Adam Lawrence

Having bought 200+ residential properties in the last 8 years, Adam has preferred to hold on to many of them for the medium/long term rather than sell them. Having achieved the vast majority of this by partaking in joint ventures, Adam has experience of raising capital from both equity and debt partners. The scaling of the business is a work in progress – however by using the (relatively) simple strategy of momentum investing/Buy-Refurbish-Rent, but doing it in volume, critical mass has been achieved and passed. For anyone to get to 10, 20, 100 or 200 properties, there has to be a start point, and almost always that start point is your first purchase! So how do you go from there to grow a portfolio and run it as a commercial venture? Adam gives a whistle stop tour of how to scale, the challenges and some strategy and tactics to use in order to get there.

James Pick

After 20ish years in corporates including Blue Chip consulting, Banking and Big Oil I’ve begun the live of a startup. Through Konnexsion I seek to work with and use disrupting technology to digitise business operations.

Mixing technology with a personal interest in property we have launched KPM, a Property Management solution enabling landlords, property companies and agencies manage rental portfolios. The solution seeks to effectively manage the assets (property, contents) as well as drive an improved collaborative experience throughout the tenancy: between agent, landlord, tenant and maintenance team.
