Justin Owens

Justin is the founder and Group Managing Director of Silverleaf Group, a residential and mixed used development and investment company. Founded 20 years ago and based in South London, Silverleaf Group operates across the South East identifying land, navigating the planning system and constructing new build homes from single houses through to multi-unit housing and apartment schemes.

In 2022 alone, Silverleaf Group obtained planning permission for in excess of 110 units across Surrey, Kent & Sussex. In 2018 Justin was awarded ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ at the Croydon Business Awards with Silverleaf Group also being finalist for ‘Contribution to the Community’.

 

Suzi Carter

Suzi is a Chartered Surveyor with 25 years’ experience in the commercial property sector. She has worked for some of the UK’s largest property and development companies and agents including CBRE, B&Q and Chartwell Land. Suzi’s last role in the corporate world was as a Director at Land Sec PLC, the UK’s largest property company and REIT, responsible for a shopping centre portfolio of over £2.7bn.

 

Suzi left the corporate world in 2015 in order to set up her property investment company – Strongoak Investments Limited – and is now investing in both residential and commercial property. She also does consultancy work for both developer and investor clients in the commercial property sector.

 

In 2018 she set up her property education business – Strongoak Education – in order to educate investors in commercial property so that they can gain the confidence and specialist knowledge to invest.

 

Tristan Gordon

The award winning and magazine featured Tristan Gordon, from ZebraInvest, is joining us in November to run through commercial conversions.

Whether it’s title splitting to create gorgeous HMOs, converting short lease 1 bedroom flats to 2 beds or buying offices to convert to serviced accommodation flats – he’s pretty much covered almost every strategy going.

He will be running through the steps to find, obtain planning and convert commercial buildings – whilst walking through a live project.
