Daryl Norkett- Relationship Director for LendWell

Daryl has worked in commercial banking and specialist lending for 10 years, most recently shaping the specialist property lending proposition at Shawbrook Bank as Head of Products & Markets, covering the Specialist BTL, Commercial and Short-Term markets. Prior to this, Daryl worked as a Regional Development Manager for Shawbrook after starting out as a Relationship Manager at Barclays following graduation from University in 2009.

 

Evan Maindonald, Founder of Melt Property

In the last 17 years, his company MELT Property has built over 100 properties in London, Gloucestershire and Kent with total end values of over £22m. The projects they are currently working on have end values of over £60m. Over time, their attention has shifted from residential development to mixed use projects and commercial development with a particular focus on the hotel and serviced accommodation market. They have raised over £3m in equity for their current property development projects, £2m of which was crowdfunded, and have a further £5m committed from investors.

 

Robert Godwin, MD of Lamington Group

Robert Godwin, 31, the MD of Lamington Group, leads a 50-year old privately held real estate investment and development business into quality, design-focused residential and commercial investments. Under his leadership, the company has tripled in size in 7 years, and was awarded in the top 1500 fastest growing companies in Europe in 2016. Robert was shortlisted by EG magazine as a 2018 Rising Star.

Created by Lamington, room2 is an exciting independent hometel brand which combines the very best of hotels and Airbnb, and which targets the needs of today’s global traveler.
