So whose new to the National Development Summit 2020
In 2020 at the National Development Summit we welcome some familar faces including Paul Higgs of Millbank, Ronald Fletcher Baker LLP, CrowdwithUs and several new faces to the Summit.
Firstly I am delighted to welcome the Hobbs sisters to the National Development Summit 2020 on Saturday 18th Janaury 2020.
Gillian and Ruth Hobbs had been working together for 18 years on residential and BTL refurbishments and flips in London predominately in the SE and SW area, zone 3 to 6, from 2000 – 2018. They formed Urban Sister in 2018 from their eagerness to formalise their working relationship, bringing homes back to life in urban areas, through beautiful design. Passionate about property they have expanded their developments to incorporate Commercial Conversions in Derby, to luxury Student Accommodation. Gillian will be on the panel focused on Opportunities in Development in 2020 and Beyond.
Karen Bennett, LendWell
Karen has worked in financial services for over 20 years and most recently was an executive of Shawbrook Bank, as Managing Director of the Commercial Property Division. Karen has a wealth of knowledge and experience in all areas of property lending. Her focus and drive is very much committed to defining and designing better products and processes that better serve the needs of property professionals looking to develop, refurbish or invest into residential or commercial property.
Grant Leggett, Boyer Group
Working at Boyer’s London office since it opened in 2011, Grant has considerable experience in handling major planning applications both as an officer and applicant. He has managed major applications including Masterplanned developments, alterations to Local plans, and has experience on projects in sensitive locations including Metropolitan Open Land, in-river development in the Thames, Public Open Space, Registered Gardens and Conservation Areas.
